Back to Work

I went back to work last Thursday. It was good timing because I did 2 days and then 3 days this week. Then it's only 3 weeks until Christmas break!! My students have been fantastic and the girls were in great hands with grandma Connee at our house. I enjoy my job, but I really miss the girls and if I had a choice, I'd be home with them in a heartbeat!!

Mommy I Missed You

I went to school this morning to see where things were at with the sub so I know where to pick up next week. It was fun to see some of my coworkers and some of the students asked when I was coming back because they miss me. The best part though was walking in the door at home and Abby running to me with open arms saying, "Mommy I missed you!" Melted my heart!

Giggles

Emily started giggling this week! It's so precious to hear. Of course when we get the camera out to film it, she quits, but we will keep trying.

Childcare decisions

I am a little over a week away from going back to work. My mother-in-law is going to watch the girls the five days before Thanksgiving break. Then they will start at daycare on Dec 1. God truly opened a door for us with an in-home sitter in Ankeny. It is going to be nice to be 2 minutes from her house. We went last night for a visit and Abby instantly made herself at home. There is another little girl her age that goes there so hopefully they will get along well. It is actually a couple that is going to be watching the girls and they are Christians which is very important to us. We are thankful for the lady that has watched Abby for two years, but we are looking forward to having them closer to home, especially when the weather gets bad.

Getting Started

After looking at Jen and Anna's pages, I decided I would start my own. Hopefully I will be able to keep it updated and figure it out. I'm hoping it will be a good way to stay in touch with friends and family. Plus, I love to share pictures of my adorable girls!
