Easter 2009

We have had a great day! We worked in the nursery this morning at church and then we spent the day at home together. I am so thankful to be raising my girls in a Christian home where we know that Easter is more than the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunts. It's about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. It's about the rest of the story where He was raised from the dead and is in Heaven at the right hand of our Father waiting for us. He made it possible for us to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father if we accept Him into our hearts.

With that said, we still had fun putting the girls in new spring dresses. Aren't they just adorable?!? I am so happy to know that as we raise them they can be beautiful on the outside and the inside as they are filled with the love and joy of Jesus!

Clean Up, Clean Up

Most days I feel like a tornado has hit my house, but I'm learning that's ok if it means I get to spend more time with my family. I consider my house a clean place, but not a showcase home. If you want to see my house, give me a few days warning. If you want to see us, come on over any time. This weekend I got a ray of hope that Abby sees me cleaning. She got super excited to clean toilets! I think this will be one of her first chores when she gets some.

Sisters

I have a great relationship with my sister and I pray the same thing for my girls. It's fun watching them play together and as Emily is becoming more interactive, they are really enjoying playing together. Abby loves to get Emily to smile and Emily just stares at Abby like she can't wait to be like her. They are such a blessing!!
