Princess Castle

We got a pop-up princess castle for the girls. Abby told Chad she was in the castle and he asked her what that made her. Her response was, "Happy!" He thought she would have said a princess.

Emily loves to be outside. She thinks she's big stuff climbing up into the little chairs.

Sweet corn

I grew up with sweet corn being a key part of meals in August. When we got married I told Chad he needed to humor me and eat it at least once a season with me. He does. I think Abby is going to be like me and love it! Emily used it more as a teething tool than anything else...maybe next year.

State Fair

Chad took a day off and we went to the state fair together! It was a cooler, cloudy August day so it was a great day. Abby loved the sky glider. She rode it with dad and just happened to see Emily and I as they were going over us.
